An Historical-Genealogical Study of the village of Carrizosa. Part I (1621-1752)

Abstract

The Genealogy, as an assistant science of History, allows us to know who were the ancestors of certain individual characters. But from a wider approach, the local entity, allows us to know better part of our joint history. Carrizosa, in the Campo de Montiel, became independent of the village of Alhambra does more than four hundred years. A nucleus of little more than one score of families that evolved in an unlike way throughout the centuries leaving an endless number of proper names for the local history. Names that we can know today thanks to the analysis of its parochial file and of the Cadaster of the Marqués de la Ensenada.
